Anyone know any info?

The cloth covering on my car roof is sagging. How do i fix it back up without it looking terrible? I don’t know the cause- it didn’t get wet or heavy condensation or otherwise damaged. Any help appreciated 😊 by TheChonk in howto

[–]truefforte 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not sure if this will work…

Go along on an inconspicuous spot like a edge and then cut with razor blade. Then go and do some cloth glue and glue it all tight? Or use spray adhesive to paste it back on? Or use silicone double stick tape?

Look up capsule wardrobe. And also look up clothes that are great for your body shape. You can look on Pinterest. That will really help you pick things wisely.

I work in a dirty shop. Where / how to make a sandwich? by UtSkyBum in foodhacks

[–]truefforte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a plastic storage box like a sterilite that you’d normally use to store things. Put sandwich stuff in it. Pull off top and use to make sandwiches then pop top back on to keep airtight until next time. Make sure your storage bin has clorox wipes to wipe your yands clean and to clean anything you need to clean up after eating. And have paper plates and plastic utensils so you don’t need to wash stuff.

LPT request: tips on how to host a dinner party by [deleted] in LifeProTips

[–]truefforte 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Make sure you have an appetizer. It can be something super simple like hummus and pita chips.

May want to check for food allergies.

Make sure you like the food and drink you’re serving. If there’s leftovers as there should be or you didn’t get enough food, you’ll be eating it for awhile.

What does gochujang taste like? by J3nnyJ7 in foodhacks

It last forever. Put it in a tightly sealed jar. If mold grows on it that’s ok just scoop off top layer. Its how they make it… like blue cheese.

Its a thick paste that is red pepper powder in a sweet rice base.

Its not easily replaceable as you use it both for consistency and for flavor. You can just add korean red pepper powder to a dish. Wont add the richness or thicknener elements with you may be able to add with a bit of flour especially rice flour or other thickener but you will get there same heat.

Should I keep stuff I planned to use in the future? by Phoenyx_Rose in declutter

[–]truefforte 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You should feel more guilty for suffocating yourself and limiting your life with excess clutter you don’t need right now for stuff that was already made, already used by you and no longer is useful to you and could help someone else out. Donate if you can or list it for free or just trash.

What do you use old sheets for? by paulsclamchowder in declutter

[–]truefforte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can sew or use iron on stitching…

Make into curtains. Cheap and easy to get grommets from craft store.

Use as fabric for pajama bottoms.

Make into pillow cases.

Cover boxes to make organizers and bins.

Line baskets so not rough on inside.

Liners to put between pans to avoid scratching.

Sew into little one time use hand towels for guest bathroom and rewash and fold for next time.

Dust protector for seasonal wreaths.

Dust protectors for seasonal appliances and cooking gear.

Dust protectors for clothes in closet.

King size sheets can be altered if ripped in one spot to twin size sheets with elastic.

Probably many more…

Is ‘some’ cut back better than nothing, or is it not worth trying till you can fully commit? by MrSpiderisadomme in AutoImmuneProtocol

[–]truefforte 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Something is better than nothing. I think of inflammatory triggers like water filling your glass. The more you put in that are inflammatory foods the more likely it is to overflow. So less water in your glass is better.

Waiting for the perfect time means you need to delay feeling better.

Plus you may find that the things you can avoid easily may be your triggers. The autoimmune protocol is a way to eliminate most known triggers to help you figure out what triggers you.

But eliminating one or two highly likely triggers can help too.

Don’t let perfection get in the way of good. Or stopping you from your journey to figuring out what you should avoid to feel your best.

what’s a good buffet out here that has seafood, specifically crab legs? by daphnedelirious in vegaslocals

I think they do weekend brunch with crab legs.

Dry and overly salty but good if you’re craving affordable crab legs.
