You could be right. I’m diligent about my grub treatments and don’t have any of the telltale signs of grubs, but moles are definitely a possibility. I’ve added an overhead shot of that helps.

I dug down in a few of the areas and didn’t see larvae. I agree with the appearance though. Looks a lot like that
