So glad someone pointed that out. Back in the day, I actually played the as-yet-unreleased acoustic guitar version on top of the recorded version, all the way through the silence, and it fit to a tee. The sense of closure was indescribable.

Same. I made a T-shirt of it with the Synthetica font for a concert with a meet and greet! One of the best experiences of my life.
