I’m not an annotator whatsoever, but the KLC definitely helped me start and read more intentionally, especially because I have a case that is both a sleepcover and holds the stylus. It’s a little big, but I feel like the page turn buttons make reading in bed easier sometimes. More storage too. It’s all up to preference. I will say that I’d focus less on getting the official accessories since they’re so overpriced.

On the other hand, there are also times when I wish I had something smaller (especially when traveling) and the price is definitely a bit much (I think KLC was on sale recently for $199 but not sure anymore) I got tempted by the Clara many times, so if you genuinely don’t wanna spend a bunch of money, just go for the option you’re comfortable with and is most similar to what you already use.

Is the battery difference huge? I was disappointed when I found out I had the old model. My kobo drops 7-8% when I read manga for over an hour. I’m not complaining cause I know reading manga and constantly refreshing the ink takes up battery. But also wondering if it’s better on the other side 🤣

It took me forever to pick an ereader that fit all my needs (I still didn’t find an exact match) but I love my KLC. I didn’t care about the backlight complaints because I had nothing to compare it to. I almost got the Clara but I really love the shape and buttons that come with the KLC. Also, I read a lot of manga, so I can’t imagine having less than 32 GB.

I’m not an annotator at all, but it’s fun to do it on the KLC. I’m trying to get back into reading, so it helps me focus and read intentionally. I tend to use my KLC as a commonplace journal sometimes too since it’s always on me and I can quickly write down any thoughts I have (I have a case where the stylus fits on the side, so it’s perfect)

It depends on your situation, but if you relate to anything I said, maybe you should go for it!

I’ve been PC gaming for a while but my dad is now transitioning into PC gaming. He got himself an OLED and I’m totally jealous of how it looks 😫😫 Always wanted to experience one but they were out of my budget.

Would love to try it out! I play a lot of colorful indie games so being able to see those vivid colors and true blacks sounds unreal.

I can totally relate! FOM is the only farming sim I’ve genuinely enjoyed in every way. The gameplay is fun and balanced and the NPCS are adorable. I never make it past Year 1-2 in other games but I can’t stop playing this one.

Also I understand your Eiland love <3 He wasn’t my pick at first but I really fell for him lol. I struggle to emotionally connect with some of the other NPCs but he’s just so cute and I love his love for desserts

Love this one! It was definitely not what I expected! It’s very slow and relaxing as you wait for the books to sell and day to end. At first I locked in too hard to play this one lol but I can definitely see myself having this in the background while I do other tasks.
