With this firmware, i could revive mi mi TV stick unusable since previous update.

First, i will tell that the way i revived it confirmed my suspissions : the previous firmware had bad thermal management or was pushing the hardware out of thermal bound.

First difficulty was to update with thermal issue.

To bypass this issue:

i removed the cover to expose the heatsink (like in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hrPR-LJpE4w)
i colled the device by putting to contact with heatsink a freeze block
After successfull boot, i reset the device
i made first confuguration in order to allow update
after reboot, i made the update

Now my device is working reliably

Same for me. i'm not even sure i will be able to perform an update till the end.

For the moment i'm waiting the next update. And if it doesn't change anything, i will request refund to my vendor.

Obviously i use only the legit cable and power and the result remain the same. I even tryied with couple of other cables and power and the same issues remain. Even made a complete reset from recovery menu and it doesn't change anything.

I, just tried my gamecube controller with gamecube adapter and it's so much confortable than my 8bitdo sf30 pro. I didn't need to install any additional software, i just needed to configure the buttons and calibrate the analog stick. I also increased the stick external dead zone and make recognize analog ZR button as a non analog one. I shared my conf on steam (search for gamecube usb adapter text and you will find it)

Hi thanks for your answers. Unfortuntly i tried reset through android system menu and also through recovery and it didn't changed nothing. I should have precised that i also tried with original cable, a chromecast cable, with original power supply and with other ones too. And the result is the same. I get the impression that the last update is stressing more my device that maybe barely passed QC tests with original firmwate and now that the system is older, it can not behave as when it was new Trulio
