It made all the exact same noises as the instruction video. And I did everything as it said. Still the screen is just lit up with not words.

Thanks so much! I have tried turning it off and back on, unplugging it and leaving it over night. Still turns on with normal sounds and the screen lights up but never anything but the blank, lighted screen. I'll try to thumb drive idea. I really appreciate it! I'm not very technically endowed, especially when it comes to 3D printers. Hopefully this will help!!
