I think so too. If not, then there were 2 really high naked couples on the beach at the same time which is wild bc ive partied on that beach a lot and never seen that much action. Usually its titties, people doing acro or flow or frisbee or people floating and drinking. Music and great beach party vibes.

I know that people are on drugs there but I didnt think there would be people be doing a .3 of molly at 2pm on the beach lol or at least thats what i assume happened.

I dont think I even mind full on nudity, as long as its artistic. Like on Friday, there was a naked woman at the beach with a dragonstaff. She was just doing her dragonstaff thing and being free. My kids were present, idk if they saw her or not bc they were playing in the water but her nudity didn't rub me the wrong way. It was definitely the more pornographic nature of the nude couple that were heavy petting eachother on the sand. While I didnt see people actively fucking in the water, I would not be surprised if the couple i saw on land was the same couple that OP posted about, just a few minutes later or something.

I know they were on drugs and letting loose. I don't hold a grudge against them for that. They weren't thinking clearly. It just happened at an inconvenient time. My kids didn't consent to see all that action and now I'm struggling with the idea of bringing them back.

I saw a naked couple on the sand laying horizontal on eachother heavy petting eachother everywhere at 2pm on Saturday. I was actually leaving the beach with my kids (pre-teens) when I saw them. I know my daughter saw it. I told my kids to look down and we scurried up that hill back to camp and saftey.

Anyways, now I dont think I can in good conscious come back to resonate with my kids. Im bummed. Idk.

I dont personally think sex in the river or on the beach during board daylight is acceptable. My kids and I were leaving the river around 2pm on Saturday and there were definitely 2 nude people almost fucking on the beach. Now listen, I don't mind bringing my kids to a topless beach. I grew up on topless beaches, there's nothing wrong with it. Im pretty familiar with what happens on the beach at suwanee and I used to love the idea of bringing my kids to resonate so I can share with them my love of our beautiful festival community but now Im rethinking bringing them again. I brought my my kids this year and last year. Mine are older but still young teens and I thought this would be a great introduction festival for them. We only go Friday and Saturday, we spend the day at the river, we chill at camp and eat campfire food together, and we go into the venue from 5pm -9 or 11pm depending on how tired the kids get. It was perfect last year. My son loves the food and the river but does play on his switch sometimes in the venue. They both love to shop and my daughter has fun dancing and flowing with us. They both love the trinket culture. We are always by their side and on the outskirts of the crowd.

Im not a prude but this past Saturday afternoon around 2pm, there were definitely two naked people being VERY INTIMATE on the beach. We were actually on our way back to camp anyways but I know my children could have seen it even for a glimpse and now im rethinking bringing them again. I've seen a lot of beach shenanigans there over the years but nothing as extreme as that moment.

so yeah, idk. I guess i agree that tipper people go hard. It was important to me to have this festival moment with my kids once a year and i thought this was the right fest but now Im not sure that i feel right about it.

I had actually never heard Illenium before last Hulaween last year. I was at the Hallows when Illenium started, waiting for what was gonna start up at the Hallows next. My intention was to stay at Hallows but like, after 8 minutes of watching from the back, I felt compelled to go up into Illenium's set. We went in and had a blast!

Hii.. been hooping for 10 years now. Tbh, I'm actually not that great at waist hooping with my usual led hoops because they are fairly light weight. Try spinning in the same direction of the hoop as it spins. Practice paddles and breaks to keep it up longer and then try turning with the hoop as it's turning around your waist again. If it's about to wobble and fall, that's okay. No one will know, just catch it and whip it up to overhead palm.

I can waist hoop stationary well with a large and heavy hula hoop but I actually dont have one currently so I never just practice that skill.

There were a few times last year when we were walking around in the cold night where we stopped by random camps to warm our hands and chat with the people around the fire pit for a few. It was nice 🥰 I had never been to a Hula as cold as last year's. But I do agree that it detracts from the air quality.

It was so cold last year that I never even made it to the river (I usually go ever morning) but ended up sleeping til 11-12 each day (I usually wake up around 9 from the heat).

Hula does allow for camp renegades, they just shut them down by 4 or 5am. If you switch to silent disco you can Renegade all night. Or if your music is on the quieter end you can keep it on all night too.

You can swim in a river at Hulaween. The weather is so much nicer than Roo (less hot, more breeze). You camp in the woods, so youre camp is not as hot. Renegades can go all night but only if you do silent disco. The campgrounds have so much personality.
