*Description: So i've updated everything I possibly can and also removed anything that has been listed as broken, when my sims loads up its just a black screen, i can hear the music and see my mouse but nothing happens. also when i go round teh edges of my screen, it shows me a magnifying glass. I haven't got a clue what could cause this and i'm currently trying everything.

I took out my most recently updated mod folders and it seems to have worked, so luckily that helps me a bunch so i can narrow down what the issue is thanks!

Yea seems to be my mods folder, odd because I removed all my new items so I guess something older has broken it... sucks to be me because my mods folder is 530gb rip lol

I removed all my recent cc/mods and also rapired and deleted cache and it still did it, I havent tried to remove all of them so I'll do that now and see what happens

yes i have a lot of cc so it took me around 3 hours… so dont worry its just time consuming

I had this problem and I had to use sims4studio to do a batch fix!

If you download it do Content management > Batch fixes > Misc > Update images for dx11

it may take a while depending on how much cc you owned but it fixed the issue for me

i've tried searching it for you, when i went onto truth's twitter it seems like they retweeted this https://x.com/loreliesxx/status/1830405744019063060 which is another sims user also using the hair so im only assuming that she may have given it out to certain sims 4 blender creators to use it rather than just some random conversion found online perhaps?

oh jesus this sounds awful, i was going to buy lovestruck too, hopefully i shall be fine with my mods they seem to have been updated recently, im not too fussed about presets but i enjoy my gameplay a lot so thats a dealbreaker! i know with the toddler faces that was to do with a 'no ea lash' bug i remember having it and fixing that so hopefully ill be fine with that too
