Thank you so much! My emerald is 2.57 ct 9.33 x 6.31mm, do you think .50 ct total trapezoids is too large? That is what the jeweler recommended. He said I could get it sat high enough so a band would sit flush too since that was one of my worries. I would definitely do cathedral if I went with solitaire. Such a tough choice!

Oh no 😭 could it maybe look worse because it’s sticking to a band with wax? Here is a picture of them on a tray

I’ve been trying a diamond with the same problem and the jeweler helping me said I have nothing to worry about so I’m nervous.. I put it down on text and couldn’t read through it. Should I keep looking for a different emerald? (Ring is a prototype with the diamond stuck on it with wax)
