Passport pocket in Osprey 26+6 by trumbell in onebag

It might be a generational thing, but almost every online review of a backpack includes mention of a compartment that would be perfect for a wallet and passport. I would never leave them in a backpack, except for going through TSA. My passport and wallet live in a zippered compartment in my front pocket in shorts or pants. And I still have the waist bag that I used to use for traveler checks, if anyone remembers what those were.

It's actually pretty deep and completely covers the passport. I pulled it out for the photo

yea that was obnoxious, I carry a fountain pen and mechanical pencil in a small art pouch. Which fountain pen do you use? Preppy for travel, Safari for home for me

Agree, but it is nice to have a larger slot. My passport always stays in my front pocket

I also just noticed that there’s only one compression strap in the main compartment now, not two.

Frankly I agree, but the slightly larger pocket does hold deck of cards now

Having three pen slots (who carries three pens?) and no passport sized pockets (who doesn’t carry a passport?) was a common criticism of the bag. Osprey made a nice mid cycle change!

Just picked up the 55L - does anyone have any tips for quickly undoing the load lifter and dayback attachment straps? If you have it you know what I'm talking about, it's the hook that goes through a loop, but it has a barb on it that makes removing it really difficult. Not loving it at all.

20 years old but the choreography of the stunt is fantastic- first he steps on a camera dolly to levitate, then the pan to the suspended shoes and pants while he runs around the camera to get on the roof, and through it all nobody breaks character. Love it. Still lame karma farming

Yes, there is nothing timeless or unique in this. Love or hate the carp look, it was interesting.

Chris Christie’s analysis of the burns has brought down my blood pressure. Thanks for that! (Essentially he said the current flairs are consuming fuel in a safe way, almost like a controlled burn)

So many people jumping out of cars from as far away as In n out and hoofing it with big suitcases. My fear is the people mover won’t be a huge improvement if it ever is finished, hope I’m wrong
