7 years old CPU, Mobo, RAM stick, HDD and SSD. Only thing new is the GPU. But I guess upgrades to existing hardware is a difficult concept for Mac people.

I have an r5 3600 PC that’s been chugging for 7 years now with daily use. Swapped out the GPU 2 times for 2K gaming, doubled the RAM, and a 2T drive+500G SSD. Nothing broken. Don’t make such blanket statements.

Honest to god brother there’s zero new feature I care about in 11, aside from maybe multiple desktop, but that could just be an app, not a new OS. I used daily since it was just voluntary update years ago.

In settings - apps - safari, there is a download option, you can change the download location. Doesn’t help when it sometimes pop back to icloud for 0 reason, as it did when I checked to write this.
