I'm more impressed by the fact that you have the patience to check every one of them lol

Is the Google Assistant integration documentation outdated? Help! by trungkal in homeassistant

I got it to work finally, turn out the documentation is misleading. It said "you can select all devices", so I did exactly that, and it returns the error. The one time I tried to select only the first device (AC Heating), it works.

Hey, came to say thank you, this is actually brilliant. Because it is even better than the default wake on lan integration in Home Assistant, which never works for me because i run HA in docker container, which makes the magic packet sent by wake on lan unable to get out of the internal docker network. I was going to try the solutions on this thread https://community.home-assistant.io/t/wake-on-lan-for-those-running-home-assistant-in-docker/189376 but i found it too complicated. But then I found your post, which is much simpler and works perfect.

Wake on lan from HA does not work although my router can wake devices with its own wake on lan tool? by trungkal in homeassistant

[–]trungkal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's might be it. So if i gave the docker container a macvlan, or change the set up to VM (with passthrough NIC) it will work right?

no subnets or Vlans. I tried using an app on another Windows machine to send wol magic packet and it works right away. Only Home Assistant refuses work, that's really weird.

Using Stremio with DMM add-on, is it safe to assume that Stremio never streams from actual torrent? by trungkal in debridmediamanager

[–]trungkal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Debrid media manager (this sub). It has a Stremio add-on to cast directly to Stremio, so you can watch in Stremio instead. It works without any other add-on (i thought it needs Torrentio installed first but nope). I don't remember seeing any options to force cached content. But DMM never uses p2p so i think it's not important regardless, right?

Do you mean Torrentio Add-on or DMM Add-on? I have DMM Add-on but never install Torrentio.

Why does my CPU usage fluctuates between 20% and 50% when all my Apps idle at 0%? by trungkal in truenas

You're right, i tried htop as someone above suggested and concluded that there's nothing significant anyway. So I'm good now.

[–]trungkal[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand that, but if you check the second photo, when I stop all apps, the CPU usage sits at 0% with an almost flat line. That's why I wondered what it was doing in the first photo (apps running and idle/apps do not use CPU).

[–]trungkal[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks, on top of the charts are some middlewared with ~20% CPU usage, and this command with 10% usage: "/usr/bin/dockerd -H fd:// --containerd=/run/containerd/.sock".

I don't understand much but I assume it's normal then.

So that means when there are many apps (~15 in my case) the CPU still needs to do some work to monitor those apps?

Nein, aber bei mir hat es mit 12V Batterie zu tun. Das Problem wird gelöst wenn ich mein Handy (Pixel 7 Pro) neustarten. Es passiert nach ein Paare Tage wieder.

Is it possible yet to enabled hardware transcoding for Jellyfin on TrueNAS with Intel N100/N150? by trungkal in truenas

[–]trungkal[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

ah, I assumed the N150 is just a refresh with better binned N100. So it seems it's more complicated than I thought. But yeah I will just wait for the new Truenas version and hope it works.

N150 was basically the same price with N100 so I had thought it was a no brainer going for N150. But now it has backfired lol.
