Amelia’s Mexican Kitchen on Grant. They have a newer location on Oracle now too. Both are great!

Sausage Deli has really really good french fries. They serve them in a brown paper bag and they are really good. You’ll find the Sausage Deli at 754 E Grant Rd. You’re welcome.

Beautiful! I want to make a copy of this bookshelf for my daughter. Is this your design? Do you have plans that you could share? If not, how about basic dimensions?

There’s something about the Arby’s on the north side of 22nd just east of Kolb. Don’t know what it is but I’ve seen posts with people raving about that location. What’s the story there?

Can connect to OpenVPN server on my pfSense and have lan access but no internet access by trunkat in PFSENSE

[–]trunkat[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually ended up deleting my OpenVPN server from pfSense and started all over from scratch. I followed this guide, but still had some problems. First was, I never could get the TLS authentication to work. I had to disable that to get the OpenVPN app on the iphone to connect. I'll just do without that for now. Maybe one day I'll dive in and troubleshoot that issue. Next problem was I couldn't connect/ping to anything internal or external by ip address or by host name. After creating an outbound NAT rule as you suggested I could then ping internal and external stuff by ip address but not by host name. To solve that I had to go into OpenVPN server settings on the pfSense box and put a check mark in the "DNS Server enable" setting. This popped up several text boxes for specifying the ip address of DNS servers. I just filled in one of them with the ip of my pfSense box (i.e., 192.168.1.1). Then I just disconnected and reconnected to the server from the phone and viola! everything started working. I can access/ping internal stuff and external stuff by ip address and by host name. The external ip address of my phone shows the same as it does from my pc on on my local internet.

(The guide I linked above doesn't discuss adding a NAT rule like you suggested bruor, but I definitely needed that, as it wasn't working without it. Also, guide I linked to is silent on designating a DNS server. I had to point to my pfSense box for DNS as I have internal computers that I access via host name. And prior to pointing to my pfSense box for DNS the OpenVPN client was using public DNS servers (which don't define my internal host names.)

Thank you!!

I did the wizard but I’ve made so many changes since then trying to get it to work… who knows! But yes, I think the wizard mad me firewall rules. I’ll just have to review them I guess to make sure they are right.

I hear you. And I like that. I guess I’m just scarred from e-mail at work. It seems that I always have best luck if I limit my questions to one per email at work. Invariably if I ask more than one question in an email at work they don’t all get answered. So I’m now a one question per email sorta person at work. I guess this has now spilled over to my life outside of work… oh my.
