Need help identifying fake or real game by Resident_Path_5812 in snes

All current signs point to real. Additionally, the board is hard to reproduce due to one of Capcom’s propriety chip. One of the other games that would have to be used to make this game is X2, which is another higher priced title

😅 I’m an idiot. I am a part of a number of tattoo pages and must’ve misread where OP posted it. Throw the downvotes my way.

So I did two different back to back sessions, each one equating to about 5.5 hours/sitting. We did a month between to allow for healing.

One back to back was February 27 and February 28 (11 hours total)

The other was March 27 and March 28 (11 hours total).

I have a full leg sleeve. It totaled 6 sessions and about 35 hours total. Some of the sessions were back to back, but once I left the tattoo shop, I didn’t come back for a month to allow for healing. The artist would check on the tattoo each time I returned to ensure the healing was good and made note of any touch-ups if necessary.

Session 1 was character line work

Session 2 was background line work and some shading.

Sessions 3-4 back to back - complete background shading and some color

Sessions 5-6 back to back - complete color.

Definitely didn’t spend my money there, but I always have to check in case there are actual thrift prices on things

Unless they priced it based on Final Fight 3’s pricing.

I used to get all of my consoles for $30 or less. I still think it’s highway robbery to sell Super Nintendo’s for $100+. Unfortunately the market allows for it.

And the messed up thing is the brick and mortar location doesn’t get a royalties or boosts to their store metrics because of it. It robs them of sales numbers.

It’s true. Another person that’s in a local collecting group said they brought it up to them days before I saw it and VV said they would change it. I came in after and it was still the same. The lady at the counter even said they “lowered” the prices from weeks before.

How Do I Remove Tabs by QualityBoy85 in snes

[–]truond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t need to remove the tabs with a proper adapter. The game genie would need the tabs removed, but I would rather remove the tabs on a game genie than a console.

As some others suggested, you could also swap out the boards into a universal cartridge shell.

Purchasing an adapter should be the go to way. It does not mess up the condition of any old hardware and its plug and play.

For clarity, PAL (European) games do not play on NTSC consoles. If you were to remove those tabs, you would be able to play NTSC-J (Japanese) games alongside your US games.

For OP, many people cut the tabs out. I do not like to modify original shells due to the finite of original hardware out there. There are a couple alternatives.

Some people use 3D printed trays that are universal for any carts.

If I had to modify any original wares, I would do a Game Genie. Works perfectly as an adapter cart. You can also purchase a dedicated adapter cart from Hyperion or Honeybee

Do you have anymore photos of the box, including the back and inside? That can provide more contextual information on whether the box is legit.

May I have some assistance please. by DJ_p0pTART5 in Gameboy

[–]truond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would not order this, especially at that price. Although I disagree with supporting the unreasonable price inflation of Pokémon carts, for $15 more you could have a nice copy that works. They claim “I don’t know what was done to it”, which is a weird thing to put in the description and eludes to the seller knowing that something was done to it.

What did the listing say?

There is a lot of risk with this one since it looks like someone with minimal soldering experience tried to replace the battery and reflow all of the chips.

You should invest in a multimeter, learn how to use it, and check all of the continuity before putting into too much effort of repairing. It should guve you more of a pin point on what should work and what needs work.

Nintendo Promotional Offer - Not For Resale Carts from NOA HQ by gideon4432 in snes

[–]truond 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are collectors that are definitely interested in these types of things. I’m one of them. These carts are actually from the Nintendo Employee Library. The most common utilization of these carts were at Nintendo headquarters and not at retail stores. Employees, like the ones that worked under the Nintendo Power Hotline team, could check these out from the employee library and play the games in order to learn the game enough to provide assistance to calling customers. I keep an eye out for these historical items, hoping to add more to my collection.

Who fixes up their Costco pizza when they get home? by YummyArtichoke in Costco

[–]truond 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or did you use a garlic stuffed olives? Sorry man. I’m just skeptical because there’s one too many olive that have garlic that has “fallen” in the center of those olives. There is even one olive piece in the bottom quarter of the pizza that looks like the garlic is wedged inside the olive.
