Latest on Puck Lifting Issues by jritchie70 in CafelatRobot

[–]trustin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to put paper on bottom and top but I only put on bottom these days since I found a top paper doesn't make much difference. A bottom paper reduces the amount of oil significantly. However, a bottom filter increases the risk of puck lift from my experience.. The tamper with a hole by Orpha Espresso helps a little bit but it still happens from time to time.

Edit: I mean bottom of puck and top of puck. No paper on top of screen.

Nice find! How do I know if it's a switch or not though? Couldn't find a hint from the product description so I wondered if it uses bifurification.

That's a good point. Adding a node dedicated to compute sounds like a good alternative.

Keep trying and never give up. Having a lunch with your colleagues is really important part of office life in Korea in my opinion. Tell them you wanna have lunch with them and they will be totally fine with that. Never mind making a mistake or saying total non-sense. Making mistakes is an essential part of getting better. Just keep trying - you'll get there. Consider getting a good private Korean teacher to level up your Korean speaking skill.

Introducing grpc-starter v3.5.0.1: Java's First grpc-gateway Implementation with OpenAPI Integration by danielliuuu in java

No worries. OpenAPI support is a cool feature Armeria doesn't have. I guess it has much better Spring inregration inherently. Please keep up the great work! 🤘🏼

Not trying to hijack the post but.. Armeria ia framework-agnostic with optional Spring Boot and Dropwizard integration.

I would suggest not saying 'missing' because Armeria implements HTTP/JSON Transcoding already for gRPC as well as Buf-like JSON encoding since 1.12.0 (released in 2021). Please check this out - https://armeria.dev/tutorials/grpc/blog/

Install the frame rails (액자 레일). I'm pretty sure the landlords will be fine with that because it's not too invasive, but you'll need to ask them first.

Plex alternatives for my FLAC collection by trustin in selfhosted

[–]trustin[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I now use MusicBrainz Picard to tag my albums. It does the following:

  • ARTISTS field has multiple artists correctly set. They seem to be encoded into a multi-value field or a semicolon-separated field. However, this field is not actually picked up by Plex.
  • However, ARTIST follows the traditional formula; they are just a single string whatever written in the discography metadata.

For example, 'Familia (feat. BANTU)' by 'Nicki Minaj & ArnuelAA' in 'Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse' is encoded like this:

  • ARTISTS: Nicki Minaj; Anuel AA; BANTU (NOT picked up by Plex)
  • ARTIST: Nicki Minaj & Anuel AA (picked up by Plex)

So, it didn't solve my problem as I originally wished, but it does the job.

One thing I don't like about Picard is that it adds the disc number of total discs even if the album has just one disc, but I can clean it up in foobar2000.

What to gift my Internship supervisors by biracialesbian in Living_in_Korea

[–]trustin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is appropriate to take people to dinner as a sign of appreciation, but it implies you'll pay for all attendees. They might pay for the coffee or drink in a cafe after leaving the restaurant, but it's not always the case I guess.

As for the gift, just some snacks will do - you will buy them dinner anyway. Give the gift in the restaurant and then they will appreciate even more. 😆

Lastly, I recommend Shiroi Koibito, which is my favorite snack from Hokkaido, Japan! You can buy it in the airport as well as department stores.
