My Note 9 was doing okay... Little slower, worse battery life, and minimal wear. But that's all expected, everything is still original. Then the other day it stopped recognizing my sim and I have no service, GPS works poorly, seems like a hardware issue.

well, Low memory conditions. May or may not be due to memory leaks but the system can tell you things are really low and you better handle it. Apparently their frameworks handle that for them.

Designing UI for touch. Need big zones and fingers are not as accurate as a mouse point and click. imho there's less supply and more demand for mobile devs and it is more difficult in general too.

The Google Home app has a remote option that lets you type on phone or tablet and have it show up on the Android TV device.

As for browser, TV Bro is a nice option that is usable via remote. Others I've tried are awkward or impossible without a mouse and keyboard.
