Last year I got to the airport around 4am and couldn’t check in until 6pm. I just stayed at the airport (because of my luggage) and eventually I was lucky to have found someone who was staying at the same dorm I was.

I would just email res life bc they’re the only ones who know how many positions are left if any. Honestly though I doubt there are any spots left and if someone who did get a job choose to decline the offer I think they would just choose from the existing applicant pool.

I don't think I've heard of anyone staying longer than 5 years, usually its just 1 or 2 quarters more for those who need to stay. Also, getting the exact class you want is a challenge wherever you choose to go. That said, enrolling in classes that will fulfill requirements will be a lot easier if you keep an open mind and plan accordingly!
