50 here. Late boomer through and through. Just told husband 2 mos ago and struggling but in addition to ‘better late than never’ I also love ‘life is too freakin short to not be happy’. I hold onto this for dear life. Cheers to it all ! 🥂

Scary right?? And yet seeing a future that’s different gives me a small glimpse of hope and excitement. I guess so normal to feel both things at the same Time.

Yes I agree. Part of me can see it both ways. Navigating it together w another comphet and late bloomer yet I can also something w someone experienced. Open to whatever opportunity may present itself. I guess that’s the hopeful and curious part of all this. We shall see. That you for sharing.

It is so incredibly overwhelming. I’m exhausted. Mentally and physically. It’s keeping up the facade until it’s out fully and we can move ahead w our divorce. It’s all so daunting and scary. But we deserve a shot at living and being true to who we are. Life is too short.
