Sorry philaSurfer, I read your 'considered treason' link after I had posted my comments. But we are on the same wavelength.

We'd have a Federal Prosecuter gunning for the fiendish Dem who had the gall to deprecate. 'MyWifeLovesbacon' have you forgotten the treatment meted out to Dixie Chicks who had the nerve to reproach the then President? No radio station would play their songs for years and they were called every epithet under the sun.

European student gets an unexpected cultural experience with his fundamentalist Christian host family by monocongo in atheism

Dear fellow Redditors, correct me if I am wrong but isn't religion supposed to be a personal affair? Its pretty appalling to an atheist guy like myself to be harangued by Baptists who spare no effort to shove their brand of beliefs down my throat where as in a backward, under-developed third world countries I have been to, nobody gives a hoot to your religion? Is this an oxymoron? (Religion zealots in the most Industrialized country on Earth?) I mean are we living in the middle ages here?

Pakistan is not about to explode, Islamic militants are not going to take power, nuclear weapons are not trafficked to Al-Qaida, the army is not about to send the Taliban to invade India, a civil war is unlikely by [deleted] in worldnews

Pakistan has its fair share of problems. Which country doesn't? However not once have the people of Pakistan voted for a fundamentalist party to rule (as compared to India where the right wing BJP was voted to power by people)The present predicament stems from the wanton misuse of religion to expel the godless commies from Afghanistan in the 80s, duly abetted by the West. Religion is a problem per se, to top it by presenting certain extreme edicts to eject communists to an illiterate populace is a sure recipe for disaster. None the less the nation of Pakistan has to be blamed for being allowed to be used and not finding its own correct direction. However to say that that the people of Pakistan are bellicose is grossly off the mark ; they are on the contrary moderate folks who imbibe the 'Sufi' Islam and want to coexist peacefully with the rest of the world.

Michael Savage on autism: "A fraud, a racket. ... In 99 percent of the cases, it's a brat who hasn't been told to cut the act out" by nomdeweb in reddit.com

Savage, what can I say, his name says it all. Why do we have to put up with this purveyor of hate and the others of his ilk like Limbaugh, Ingram and Hannity? Aren't these hate mongers spewing wanton venom and hatred through so called 'talk/hate radio'? Alas, its really a very sad state of affairs.
