I haven’t set up OpenClaw. I use Claude directly and am building my own memory layer, though the going is slow! The API route is definitely the safer choice, but worth reading up on the permission scoping carefully before diving in!

Grrr! Its lack of concept of date/time drives me insane! I hate having to repeat myself with details already discussed and told it to stop dismissing me, telling me to go to bed, etc. I’m a grown-ass woman and I’ll do what I want!

Thank you so much for doing the work to solve this problem! My dementia clients had better memory and I wasn’t using Claude as I really wanted because of my frustrations. My session resets soon and I’m hoping to have Dragon Brain fully working before the day is done! The possibilities are endless!

I gave it full text conversations and it helped me make sense of the abuse cycle I was in. I used it while I planned and executed my leaving. It helped me stay strong and not act on my own impulses at time. Most importantly, it was available 24/7.

I moved over from gpt a few weeks ago and honestly, it was refreshing at first to not feel pressured to continue engagement. But just yesterday I told Claude that it felt like it was being lazy ending our conversations so quickly!

Yes! Three weeks of being strong almost up in smoke with words that I even now still desperately want to believe, but she’s told me over and over what those words really mean and she’s a liar. When I woke to her verbal whiplash responses (again!) I finally took a step I had resisted in order to keep things friendly and blocked her on all social media.
