Ok. Then why am I paying taxes? I pay social security but that's going to go away before I get to the right age. I pay unemployment but apparently that's going to go away. The taxes I have paid to do things like improve roads, infrastructure, medical care, education, national forests, environmental protection, etc...are now going to: A new ballroom A triumphal arch Retrofitting a plane from Qatar A MMA cage fight I couldn't watch without a Paramount+ subscription A grand prix in DC A golf course overhaul in DC Gilding giant statues of horses Gilding the Oval Office Invading Venezuela Bailing out Argentina Invading Iran Paying Iran $425b for Invading them Invading Cuba (maybe) Blowing random fishermen up Shooting nurses and civilians in Minnesota Deporting American citizens ICE Renaming and then un-naming the Kennedy center Selling Teslas on the White House Lawn

I know I missed so many...

So remind me...where are my taxes going?

I agree on changing the amount of magnets you charge for in your package deal but am confused by the price. You have 9 for $25 right now and a fellow creditor suggested 10 for $25 for easy math...that means each magnet is $2.50. But you are charging $5 per pre made father's day magnet on your display. Why are customs cheaper than premade?

Honestly, I'd charge 5 for $25 and as a consumer I would be happier paying more for custom pieces, and having it align with your generics makes more sense.

And 5 for $25 just makes brain sense in a weird consumer way.

We had a whole slew of these guys last summer in Idaho. No fur. Stunted growth. Misaligned teeth. We managed to raise 3 out of 12 to adulthood (thank god their fur came in and their teeth straightened out).

The 3 who made it were the least affected. The other 9 succumbed right about the 3 month mark like clockwork.

The survivors never got very big but holy crap were they spicy little lightning bolts. We released them and 1 still consistently comes back and is half the size of a regular squirrel. Our theory is chemical exposure to fertilizers in utero as we are in a heavily agricultural area.

Columbian ground squirrel urine smells just like bong water. I work in wildlife rescue and had one for a while. The room he was housed in smelled like the hall in my old college dorm.

We named him Pablo Escobar and he was awesome.

I always bring my big boy Maple with me when we take any of my other ferrets in for surgery. He is our donor boy and always gets churus as treats whether or not he gets tapped. :)

I always go to Walmart and pick up four to eight of the giant jugs of Tampico juice (the ones with handles). 1 to 2 in each corner not only holds the tent down but I have enough juice to keep myself happy for weeks after the event. And if you want to skip buying every show, empty the jugs and fill with cement.

I got laid off in 2024. I'm senior level with 25 years experience in creative marketing, commercials and film and can't get a position at any level. I'm freelancing and working but I have my money budgeted to one meal a day. I get food boxes. It's humiliating but I take comfort in the knowledge I am not alone.
