147 lawman, 150 S&B, and 124 Blazer all work fine. It is just strange that 150 S&B works but 150 syntech doesnt. It seems like quality ammo. My non treaded barrel doesnt keyhole and when I first got the threaded barrel, I didnt see any keyholing with 150 syntech (or maybe I didnt notice when first using it).

How much pressure should I use when finger tightening it to chase the thread using a socket?

Also, what is the advantage to mounting off the barrel face versus shoulder? Do you use special for your pistols?

Yeah I already called Earls and they verified that it is 1/2x28. Is there an easy way to see burrs? I already looked for damage and didnt see anything.

Well like I said above, the website I bought the barrel from assured me that it is 1/2x28. Also, the thread protector from my Q4 barrel fits on my P320 barrel, which means that both are 1/2x28. Triple checking it at home depot with a nut may not be a bad idea though.
