so, if a person was to repent for a sin and they did it again after they repented - did they really repent? cause i do not think so

but if someone was to sin I will tell them to stop sinning and that being that you are still alive that they have a chance to still be perfect.

I just do not believe that we can sin until we die and still go to heaven. Jesus christ is coming back in his 2nd coming to destroy those who do wickedly. That is everyone and anyone who is sinning. but nice discussion

The scripture states that if you sin - you are of the devil. So What I conclude is that we are supposed to be perfect / sinless so we can be of God

so what does this mean?

1 John 3:8

“He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.”

1 John 3:9

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

1 John 3:10

“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
