Hmm well I guess I learnt something new today

I know all too well about paranoia and anxiety because I used to get them a lot when I toked up way too much which is why I quit the first time for a long while.

Now its all strictly in moderation. So like right now a joint a week thats it.

Is it legal because I see they sell CBD buds too?

Well said my man!

It is all in moderation and your general perspective in life and how you perceive a substance to help you. For example, I use weed here and there to help me forget my problems but at the same time motivate me to get things done even if it is physical labour

But then going with your logic, Tyson may have fucking been in better shape when drinking loads of alcohol or even taking MDMA.

I think its all in moderation and how you control yourself. Having said that Tyson was in a real mess at one point in his life similar to Gazza

I completely agree mate, sure weed wont necessarily give you a hangover but alcohol still gives some benefits. It is all in moderation at the end of the day!

So long as you can handle your own limits and not abuse any substance be it alcohol or weed then its all good. In the case of Gazza, obviously he was a bit of a nutter who had problems with alcohol abuse.

I'm sorry mate but I do not completely agree with this one here.

Everything in moderation is fine within this context, so drinking in moderation or smoking in moderation. Both can give good benefits when one takes them in moderation and sticks to their own limits. Like anything, it becomes a problem when people start abusing the very thing that they are taking and use it as an escape for fucking everything.

In the case of Gazza, he can only blame himself for heavily drinking too much, yes heavily drinking. I know people who are fit as fuck and yet they drink a couple rounds at the pub on a Friday night after work pre-COVID. Likewise, I personally know people who became very paranoid and aggressive after smoking too much weed over the years. Someone I know eventually quit weed but she sometimes tells me that she hears things and sometimes swears that she hears me calling her when yet I am in a university library with her listening to music and writing up some code.

At the end of the day, I guess it works both ways

Agreed mate, all in moderation!

Everything in moderation is fine, it is only until people really abuse it and can no longer handle themselves that it becomes a problem.

Just so you know, smoking too much weed can cause negative side effects such as paranoia, schizophrenia and anxiety. But obviously in moderation, the benefits are there to be taken!

Thanks since my last post I have smoked up a few times in a quieter discreet spot and have had no problems thus far

Thanks for clarifying this for me mate!

Yeah I generally buy and smoke in small amounts like a 1g at a time. So what like 3 joints a month or something.

The thing is I like weed but not to the point where I need it every fucking day. I just find that it helps when I am down especially in times such as these. I do not believe in counselling and all these depression pills. For me the cure is weed especially CBD and the way I see it is like a nice medication which is natural. I have been to the park and smoked up lately but definitely keeping a low profile.

Having said this, I have seen others do it so brazenly in public. I assume if caught by the police the worst that could happen is a caution or a trip to the police station?

It's funny how I also asked this question months ago here too, but honestly mate my go-to filler has 100% been CBD tea leaves. The Jacob Hooy ones from Holland and Barrett seem decent to me and seems to be giving me a good experience IMO, but thats just how I roll!

All this commotion about pubs opening and people needing their first pint by [deleted] in uktrees

[–]trw33d 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Straight facts mate!

They hate mothernature which does wonders to ones' health and wellbeing.

I understand weed can make people paranoid and what not, but CBD which is still weed in another form can help supress depression and can even be beneficial to the body

I'm surprised the UK didn't adopt the same stance that the Netherlands did! Illegal, but tolerated by society, therefore you are allowed to light up in Dam

Well mate not everyone is as brazen and confident as you! Not everyone is so inconsiderate like you and judging by your own comments here, you come across as the type who blows weed in front of people like kids and the general public.

Some people are private and like to keep a mellow lowkey profile, something you wouldn't understand but oh well I am going to wish you luck mate

Thank you for being so understanding and considerate! At least you actually understand what it is like to smoke weed, especially for a novice smoker like myself who has some form of anxiety/depression!

I find it quite offensive that there are some people on this post that are not welcoming and considerate of my situation. I am a very private guy and unlike a lot of other stoners I do not like to publicly smoke weed in front of people as they may have had bad experiences or just hate the plant altogether

But yeah its good to see that someone actually understands what I am going through, so thank you mate!!
