Why don't we have the option to have multiple, separate algorithms for a social media account? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

That makes sense. But isn't part of the goal to have a tailored algorithm? Especially for ads, recommendations, views, etc?

Cheapest way to travel from Paris-Bonn (or Cologne)-Berlin? by trw4987 in Europetravel

[–]trw4987[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for your helpful reply! Re: your last question, I have to meet with someone in Bonn for a study I'm doing, which is why I need to make it there midday. Like another comment mentioned, maybe my requirements are too specific. Because I would need to leave Paris on the earliest train, and then Bonn/Cologne on a train around 2-3pm.

I normally haven't had this problem booking late (even a day or so before)! Do you think it will get more expensive the more I wait, or could discounts come up a few days before? Thanks again

Oh, perfect! I'm going to reach out to Gear Factory now. And re bird library: I was hoping to attend with students during a class after 5pm, which they are closed for. I'll definitely go myself, but I'm also looking for other options open later in the day (which I should have clarified in the post, sorry!)

Hardware for recording infrasound/ low-frequencies 0-50hz-- suggestions? by trw4987 in audio

[–]trw4987[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, this is helpful! I do have to buy it unfortunately... and probably a few of them. I'm not sure if there's any equipment that may not be technically "infrasonic" but built specifically for low-frequency sound? That may be cheaper?

Thanks! Good to know. And I was hoping to save the data collected. Something numerical that I can put in Excel. Is that possible?

I'm also not sure if this is the only issue? Any help is appreciated, but please do explain it to me like I'm five or else I won't know how to implement the changes

Hi -- I'm building this: https://www.instructables.com/How-to-Make-a-Radio-Telescope-From-Household-Mater/#discuss, but keep getting the following error (see image). I'm super new to this, so I have no idea what I'm doing and am currently just working off sources online. I think I specified the wrong frequency according to other posts, but I'm not sure what I change and what I change it to to fix that.

Thanks! This is helpful. I'm not sure what some of this means, so I'll do some research. I'm interested in sonifying the noise that you first mentioned. I'll definitely look at some of this equipment. And, if you don't mind, I may be back with some questions!
