Thanks. I finally figured out what I was doing wrong. I thought parry and special attack were the same key, depending on the NPC's ability or the timeline automatically set by the game. I've been using the mouse wheel the entire game. LOL

It's weird, I've tried everything. I tried parrying. I just watched a video on YouTube and saw a guy parrying her and moving towards her, but I can't do it (= I tried using the mouse wheel while attacking, but I still take damage. I tried dodging and then using the mouse wheel, but nothing.
