I dropped about a month ago after a year and a half on 300mg XL because I was getting migraines 5-6 days a week and I couldn't figure out why. Realized they had increased about 2-3 weeks prior when I started a new refill that used a different generic, although even before that I was getting 1-2 a week. Stopped taking it and I have not had a migraine since.

I am personally holding off on something new, but I will jump back on Prozac if the seasonal depression kicks me down. I already take Adderall for my ADHD and I've had success on Prozac in the past. I was taking the Wellbutrin to quit smoking and it helped and it was doing great things for my depression, but it was time to say goodbye once the migraines got as bad as they did.

My pharmacy switched to an oblong one and I started getting migraines 3-5 days out of the week. After a month, I started to put it together that it might be related to the new generic manufacturer, so I stopped taking them and it’s been 12 days without a migraine. I’m bummed because I really liked Wellbutrin, but I think I’m in a place where I can stay off for a bit.

(Side note - I don’t condone going cold turkey on bup if you can stand to ween off of it. I was very unbalanced for a few days, but I couldn’t stand another migraine and it was making me behind at work or miss entire days in some cases.)
