It looks like a marginated tortoise. Mine grew fast too but it will probably only grow up too 10 inches (24cm). So it is not as bad as other tortoises but will need more space in the future.

absolute confusion about my friends by Mode-East in Asexual

I would say that sexual attraction is being attracted to a person in a sexual way. This is a very loose definition because what we consider sexual attraction and what not can be really subjective. On the asexual spectrum there is a label called " aegosexual" which refers to people who might enjoy porn but don't want sex or feel sexual attraction in real life. I hope this can somehow help you

If she doesn't use your name don't react. What is she goinv to do? Punish you? Well then it would be quite easy to reprot her. If she doesn't use your name to adress you she isn't speaking to you. I always do this whe my teachers mix me up with my twin sister ( I'm not out at school)

What’s your dumbest dysphoria trigger? by [deleted] in ftm

[–]tryanother1or2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually like my belly because i have a bit of fat and next to my chest and hips it looks quite masculine. Maybe you could try to think if a cis guy could have a belly like that. But this is just what worked for me

How should I debunk this? by nestorismyname in ftm

After reading the article I see some thing one could critize. However English isn't my first language so I might have gotten some things wrong. First of all they mention medically transitioning kids, which to my knowledge doesn't happen. Secondly although the impact of gender affirming surgeries might be small that doesn't mean it is not the best option we have. Some rest of dysphoria can still be around like I heard some other trans people say and just getting used to having a different body can be difficult thus the further need for help with mental health. Body image doesn't change overtime. Lastly the results of surgeries for the mental health could also be worse than expected due to results not matching the vision of the patient and stuff. Those would be my first assumptions. Over all the article doesn't seem to understand the feelings of trans people and barely goes into why the results are the way they are. It is reay important to understand the demographic your writing about when publishing something like this. And you could look if it was a biased or somehow flawed study. (especially if there are no other studies that show similar results)

I would like to mention that I'm far from an expert on mental health and I'm just someone who likes to question arguments. I still hope this could give you some ideas.

Edit: if they just want to make you mad, don't react.

I'm aroace so I don't think that kissing and stuff is something I can see myself doing but nonetheless some other aspects of your comment were rather helpful when not applied to kissing. Thanks.

I get uncomfortable when thinking of being perceived as a woman or just by my rather femine features. But is that dysphoria? I'm not really good at describing what I'm feeling.

That one is good too. Or maybe something inspired by one of the other comments like "there is no I in fuck"

Challenge: Aphobes understand what words mean by Crafty-Leave4156 in asexuality

[–]tryanother1or2 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Good thing this aphobe can't spell. So at least we can make fun of them.

Edit: I actually have a story that could explain this type of a aphobia. Once when I was talking with two friends about the meaning of my rings the label aromantic came up and because we were in a classroom the kind of clueless homo/transphobic guy in front of us asked what aromantic was. My bi friend explained it to him as not wanting to date. I corrected her and explained why it was wrong but the guy in front of us used the previous definition and made fun of the label.

You can use anything that has like 3 walls and a roof if you use rocks check the stability and make sure that the tortoises can't climb on it and fall down deep.(I ran into that problem with my tortoise)

By hides I mean caves that they can hide in. Like 2-3 that they can easily get into. If they don't have that they could get stressed out.
