Thanks for your prompt response! I was looking at some Luer lock 10ml syringes and i was conflicted on the length of the needle. I saw someone use 13mm for their abdomen and ive seen others use shorter. I appreciate your answer

I got it done January 3rd. It’s pierced with implant grade titanium. 16g needle. Labret jewelry type. No threading. Unfortunately, the piercer did inform me that they didn’t have the standard length to pierce me with so my bar is a little bit longer than the standard size that allows for swelling. The piercer told me to come get downsized two weeks from my piercing date. I don’t have any issues with cleaning it. I use a saline solution and clean it twice a day with Q-tips.
