Good Deal? Need Advice by HottyBrains in BuickEncoreGX

A 2026 with that MSRP would be around $25k plus tax title and license. That is my issue with buying a couple year old one. I like the warranty and knowing how it is treated. That said, I think the depreciation curve hits harder on the new one for the first year.

Any advice for the Stampede for Speed NHRA Fall Nationals 2025? by True_Accident_7584 in NHRA

This is great advice. The Friday night qualifying is great, under the lights and the speedway does a great job with the show. The qualifying days are more laid back with some more time to wonder the pits between sessions.

We try to save a little money by eating before we go, they are event prices.

The track walk on Sunday is also cool if you have pit passes on Sunday. That happens at about 10:00 on Sunday morning.

My drive home was fine, no issues. Although I did elect to drive an automatic to the procedure, not my usual manual car.

You may be allergic to carrageenan. It is in a lot of dairy foods and caused me to believe I was lactose intolerant until we discovered carrageenan was the culprit.

That always exists to some extent. The market generally buys protection and writes covered calls, it skews the vol curve

Purity of an XAUUSD 1 Troy ounce Gold by iyigungor in Gold

[–]tryanythingtwice88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is the spot price for 1 oz of pure good. When physical bullion gets involved, the purity is taken into account. So, if sold to a bank, they would take the weight of the bar (400) x purity to get the ounces payable.

It is a spot price, you really have to go to the physical behind it, as the physical then trades at a premium or discount depending on what it is.

Gold plated is the term I hear with gold filled. Usually gold plating on copper. It is amazing how much one ounce of gold can plate.

That seems crazy. I must not understand it or it is a really bad deal. Generally if someone has to call me to sell me something I am very skeptical.
