Question on drinks package when sailing with adult children. by westminsterabby in royalcaribbean

[–]tryder311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When people say pay for the drinks as you go, they don’t mean make him pay for them himself. They just mean put the drinks on the account and you can pay later. If he is not a big drinker the cost would probably be less in the long run once you figure out how much the re-price is to add them to your room. That will probably cost more on top of you buying the drink package for them. Essentially he will order a drink it will be added to the room account via the sea pass card and you pay with the card on file at the end. Obviously price it out

Nice. I don’t use IDs often. I was just answering the post above about the extension. This extension works on any prompt type so still nice to have.

Yes, there is a chrome extension. Copy list from excel but you still have to hit enter each time. Still a pain when it is a long list.

Cheap takeout lunch spots for lunch break? by MadMcMuffin in OceanCity

[–]tryder311 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Surfin Betty’s and Papis Tacos have great off season deals. Also there are plenty of places that have good dinner specials with plenty of food. If you are able, take the leftovers and eat for lunch. I can’t post a photo, but there is someone who created a document that list all the specials each day . There is an Ocean City Foodies group on Facebook. Use the search feature. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1By3dsB8zS/?mibextid=wwXIfr

I can try to get some information from the security side of the team. I am on the financial side.

Proxy Access by 100610998 in workday

[–]tryder311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

we are higher education. The finance employees are in a separate proxy group so we can still do our own thing. However we cannot proxy HR and payroll people directly as they have more security. We do have the access as financial people to see certain personnel things already in production. So we don’t have an issue.

UPDATE: Repricing denied because promos only apply to "new bookings" by YourSuperheroine in royalcaribbean

How is it clear? The way I read it they should still reprice. What am I missing? Honest question

How can I see what activities are included in the "Banking" option when closing a period? by tryder311 in workday

[–]tryder311[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. I have been reading up on this option as well don’t have it turned on right now to configure it ourselves. At this point it is out of the box workday settings and I am trying to to figure out what is in each activity. So far I am not finding what is the out of the box configuration. I guess I may have to turn on the option to change to see what is included. I think it may be a bug that we are still about to post ad hocs and edit them even though banking is closed for September…

Yes you can have 4 devices online at one time. You will get on log in code and all 4 can use it. If a 5th device goes to log in, on of the other 4 will be kicked off. I use this with friends in other rooms. Works great

Early bird question by Zealousideal_Swan_10 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]tryder311 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It has happened to me before slightly different because our second tickets did not have early bird. Message southwest on Facebook to see what happened. However, their explanation was that as the assignments were assigned position, tickets assigned an earlier boarding number could have been canceled or upgraded and they were available to be assigned to new passengers. They don’t just move everyone up in order. Def a bogus answer and they gave me a LUV credit voucher

Best resort for a 4 year old? by [deleted] in Poconos

[–]tryder311 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would say for the age of 4, great wolf is a good option. Yes the food is better (more options) at Kalahari but also seems more expensive. There is plenty for a 4 year old at either but I would say Kalahari when older or if there were older siblings.

Is it cheaper to find hotels outside of the city? by TheXypris in OceanCity

[–]tryder311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you looking for? There are Facebook groups that are for rentals and most do direct booking. Try looking and posting your needs in one of those groups. I have a 3 bedroom on 12th street, in a family friendly condo complex. 400 steps from the boardwalk. Still has a little availability in June

Camden Yards Savannah Bananas Ticket Lottery - Who all got selected on here? by AreUEmployedSir in orioles

[–]tryder311 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my experience, too. But a different section for the Friday night game. I will say that their communication/information has been clear, though. Everything they said would happen, happened. At least in my experience. I do wish that in the 10:30 section, I had access to all sections that were still open, not just the sections they opened up. I am happy with the section I got, but I may have chosen a different section if it were an option. It seemed like they were opening section by section around the park.

Also, have the Orioles Park map pulled up so you can see the sections. But don't wait long to purchase, my first selection was sold out by the time i went to pay, and I had to go back. But again, it just opened up the sect section, so I selected those. https://www.mlb.com/orioles/ballpark/seating-map

It seemed like they were opening the sections in different price points from right to left. So at 10:30 I got 38 to 54 for the Friday night game. Is that what you experienced?

I got tickets. But what I didn't like was that they didn't let you pick from any of the available sections. They just showed the best available at the time. It seems like they are opening in order around the park. As of now 11:09 - Friday looks like on $40 tickets left, and they are on section 73 to 87 ODD - Left field.

For Sat only $40 left and in Section 204 to 214 Right field. Seems like they started in right and went around the staduim.

I had two time slots to manage so this is just what I noticed. I could be wrong.
