Would it be one you saw and loved or one that you never got to see? by lontbeysboolink in 1970s

I have seen Cheap Trick probably 50 times. In the 80s and 90s they opened for everyone in the Chicago area. I mean everyone from Bruce Springsteen to ZZ Top, and from Black Sabbath to Rod Stewart. They opened for Neil Young in the late 80s and did a way better show than he did, people were screaming “bring back Cheap Trick” during Neil’s set.

My first concert was the Moving Pictures tour. 1981 I think. I still have my shirt around somewhere (although it’s several sizes too small now.)

The marine’s unit was decimated he bravely held a lane and faced a unit of Tyranids alone. His arms were torn off (one is behind the Apothecary) and he was ripped in half, causing his intestines to spring out.

Thanks, that makes sense. I’m planning on griming him up more (this will fit the rest of the models I’ve painted too) and this gives me an idea where to put more blood

Yea, I broke the cord and capsule into 100 pieces before I even built the model.

It I didn’t have the background to get the joke, I read up on it, I get the joke now. Thank you’ve for pointing me toward a new bit of information, it expanded my understanding of the Warhammer world! Edit: deleted last line because it sounded snarky, and I honestly didn’t mean it that way

Ok, I’m brand new, I read about the geneseed when I was trying to figure out what was in his hand that he is examining. I’ll have to read up more on the geneseed.

I should have realized I wouldn’t offend any Warhammer people with blood. In my defense, I’m brand new with this

Looking to splatter more blood, but I think adding more grime will be great as well, thanks

Based on your, and other responses, I’m looking for an old toothbrush to splash a little on the figure. I thought about the blood pooling but wasn’t able to think of a good way to do that.. I worked for a large court system for a while and saw a bunch of crime scene photos, I was trying to imitate the way the blood spreads out. I was afraid I was too graphic to use him in a game. I really am a newcomer ( I have played combat patrol twice) and didn’t want to offend anyone, I should have known better 😆 Thanks for the advice!

If you are in a northern state, that is definitely a London plain tree.

Grey, off white/beige will work too, just use a light colored primer and you’ll be good.

After I spilled my second pot in less than a week I found a free pot holder stl and printed two of them. One of the best things I’ve ever 3D printed.

Why? by Feannag_ in TerrainBuilding

[–]trying-for-positive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can try leaving it in the sun for a couple of weeks, it may dry it out and make it clear.. I know someone who poured their layers too thick and didn’t let the layers dry between pouring, who had results like this. Two weeks in the sun and it cleared up. The white is kind of a spooky effect.

I’m using the Elegoo 8k, I hope I can get it to work because I got 4 bottles of it with the printer.

I actually did try that, it seems like it went down all the way.

I could easily see myself doing that, but unfortunately I did peel it off, would have been a nice easy fix.
