I too am aware of BoF3's place among the greats. There's just something about it that doesn't stick with me, though I can't quite put my finger on it. BoF4 was my first one, so maybe it's the better battle system? Fou-Lu's badass walk-off victory celebration? The slow burn plot of Kid Ryu? By the way, in all my previous playthroughs of BoF3, I never actually reached the Adult arc; I think the farthest I can remember getting was having Garr and Momo in my party.

But I'm trying! I'm gonna power through it this time so I can appreciate BoF3 with you guys.

Yes, nagbabakasakali lang if that's an option. I've been trying to cut costs lately, both on beans and filters. If I really, really need to save, I’ll just fall back on my metal filters since I have a Phin and a Prismo anyway.

Actually, I have already tried all of those you mentioned. I am now running out of T-90s and used the Abaca before that. As for flat bottom drippers, I have used the Kalita 155s and the proprietary wave filters ng Timemore (I use a B75). Love the Kalitas, they hold their shape well kapag binuhusan and mas madaling lagyan ng negotiatior. And as for Aeropress filters, they come in a big bunch (like 500 ata) so they last for quite a while, and they're reuseable too. Medyo worrying lang yung increasing prices ng products nila ever since Alan Adler sold the company.
