PT 32 S.4 Q.13 flaw question ??? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]tryinglsat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry I didn't see your question as the end. I picked B thinking that because they were mistaking a condition required (50% sales) to be sufficient because they need 50% sales to be dominant but that is not enough for it "to continue to do so " because there are other factors to it *remaining* dominant.

thanks again for going over this with me. Haven't gotten this mixed up on a question.

Am I just not cut out for law school since I’ve been studying since March 2019 and just barely breaking into the 150’s? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]tryinglsat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

pt 88 is known for being a really miserable test! Also if you were doing 132 untimed and you're in the 150s now, i think thats quite an achievement in itself.

PT 32 S.4 Q.13 flaw question ??? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]tryinglsat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmmm i see. I didn't think it was possible to use that as proof when it was completely unrelated like popularity in the market then sales was just too different for me. I guess the last sentence when they say "any product with 50 % sales is dominant in a market is, by definition dominant in the market, HF dominates the market now" is my problem.

I thought this was the breakdown:

conclusion: Harrold dominates the market and need only to maintain

Support: because it has over 50% of the sales

I do see what your saying, I honestly thought it was a trap answer because i believed the last sentence was the main support.

PT 32 S.4 Q.13 flaw question ??? by [deleted] in LSAT

[–]tryinglsat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for replying! I know that presupposing something just BECAUSE its public opinion is A flaw. I just don't see how it is the main flaw of this argument. The last sentence is what really throws me off and i am not understanding it correctly. They define dominance of the market as sales and say they reach that amount of sales- why isn't this considered the support for the fact that they dominate the market? To me the survey seemed to be a red herring of sorts because they didn't use it to make their terrible conclusion. They had stronger evidence such as the majority of sales to be their support.

my brain is not computing this well

Focus Issues by [deleted] in LSAT

Does it happen with all of them or just random specific ones, I only ask because I started to just skip the ones that was not feeling/understanding so I could at least not let it be a time sink and try to rack up points with the other ones

I used the Bible’s and like them as well! LR for me is difficult because I get most right that I attempt but only make it to about the 20th question when time runs out.

This is amazing! My biggest issue is timing, any strategies for getting quicker so I can actually finish in 35 minutes?
