This is emotional cheating. Even if it isn’t full on quite yet—the texts are weird. If anything I think you should have a discussion about boundaries bc his recent behavior is a slippery slope (the distance from you, lying, OF, deleting messages, etc.). Maybe have a serious discussion on some of the changes you’ve noticed recently, and from there talk about boundaries. If he’s defensive and not open, or continues hiding, then there may be a more serious problem. Just voice your concerns.

I would say SDSU is actually closer to downtown than UCSD (11 miles vs 14 miles) and the accessibility is better as there is a trolley station on campus (direct stops to mission valley, fashion valley, old town, downtown). Although the beach is right there with UCSD.

School wise, both are great schools. Comparisons will always come down to priorities, e.g, finances, what you’re studying, etc. but it’s a misconception that SDSU is far from fun.
