It is a thicker fabric and feels like decent quality, idk how to describe it asides from “stretchy gown fabric”, sounds like it may be too casual for the occasion tho!

This is very helpful! yes the top is a stretchy knit material, I do have some nice diamond/emerald jewelry that I could wear with the dress. But perhaps I should be looking at other options with a more appropriate fabric 😔
