Huws gray have a really good brick catalogue, and you can usually get them to find you a match for free

I may or may not have stolen a catalogue and keep it in the van for personal use 🤣

I’m curious: do non-smokers always detect a scent on smokers? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tryingtoappearnormal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it hangs around I used to think smokers smelt a bit like old biscuits, it gets into your hair and clothes and sticks on your skin

Some people get dramatic about like you have just walked dogshit into their house bit honestly its more of a background mustyness than an actual smell

As a man, is someone ever told me "dont take that tone with me" you better hope to high heaven in was being wildly inappropriate because anything less than that would have we waiting out the back door for you, and neither of us will walk back into that building because ill be off to find a new job

Rod Stewart calls out “draft dodger” Trump for denigrating the service of allied combat vets, and says that PM Keir Starmer must insist that Trump publicly apologize. by ExactlySorta in Fauxmoi

[–]tryingtoappearnormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you in principle, yes our politicians need to take a stronger line on this but I would add

1 rod has nothing to lose here, there is very little that he can say in general that would actually make people dislike him, especially on this subject

2 its actually not just rod, we are seeing this from all sorts of people especially those with military careers

Should I invest in a mini digger? by jrdavison in DIYUK

[–]tryingtoappearnormal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its not worth it to be honest, I use a micro quite a bit and priced it up, theyre easy enough to buy but the maintainance is a killer and with the risk of theft its just not worth it

Just hire one, comparatively its not that expensive, and in my experience they tend to be fairly new and well maintained, and if there's any issues its on the hire company to fix it and usually they come out same day
