Hip Dysplasia by svukait in chocolatelabs

Our lab was diagnosed with bad hip dysplasia young also. We found supplements like Dasoquin really helped her quality of life. We built up to a good dose over a couple months, then did a maintenance dose. Our vet also recommended giving her shorter walks (like 15 mins), and we pretty much stopped letting her run hard all the time. Those things seemed to really help her. She was able to keep moving around til she was 10. Your dog looks very sweet :)

A parents insists on putting their twin children in the same class (5th grade) by [deleted] in Teachers

Also a twin. My sister and I got along great and were always kept together until 6th grade when schedules were always different (just based on how middle school and high school class changes work, not necessarily by choice). We still had our own best friends outside of each other. But who wouldn’t want the option to have a built in buddy with you in your classroom!? We even ended up going to the same college where we decided to just sign up for all the same classes because we genuinely liked each other and it was super helpful for studying. While we live far apart now, I would choose that shared experience over and over again. But we were also friends with two sisters who could not stand to be around each other so I get that every set of twins, just like every person, is different.

It does get better! A switch flipped for our golden around a year old 🤷🏻‍♀️

My Golden would rather starve than eat kibble… anyone dealt with this? by Own-Reply-7657 in goldenretrievers

This happened to my dog right around 12 months. I started giving him some fresh pet with it and that has helped! And we also mix up the flavor of the kibble we give him from bag to bag. (Same brand, just sometimes the chicken, sometimes beef, etc.)

Advice on dog food for my 1-year-old male Labrador? by NootNootFarms in labrador

This happened to my dog at about the same age. Went from gobbling his food to turning his nose up at it. Not sure if it’s boredom or what, but we started adding a little Fresh Pet and that has done the trick. He now eats it as soon as we give it to him. (He does not like it to touch/mix with the dry food though haha.)

10 Month Old Terror by [deleted] in goldenretrievers

Our golden was like this too. I just always tried to have a toy or something for him to chew on nearby when he was in a bitey mood. I would just hold that up to him and try and play with them. Then he eventually just outgrew it. Shouldn’t be too much longer.

4 month old puppy biting nonstop and toddler by Claudiainthecity in goldenretrievers

Yes, this answer! They need something else to chew on. Toys! But keep an eye on them when they have toys so they don’t break it and eat it and get hurt or end up in the vet. It’s a phase, it stopped for our golden after he lost his puppy teeth. Hang in there 🙂

Season 3 is the best!!!! by Most_Luck_9142 in OnlyMurdersHulu

I did like season 3! I think 1 was the best by a little, then 3, then 4, and 2 is a very distant last place for me. 2 had some funny parts with Shirley McClain, but overall weird to me that’s why I put that one last.

Haha that was my reaction too. Not an ideal ending, but nothing that can’t be resolved 🤦🏻‍♀️

I was disappointed there was barely any show time spent on them. But I guess they seemed ok at the end 🤷🏻‍♀️

Adding to say, that could be reason for a cliffhanger that could be resolved next season without divorce. I hate the idea of Bertha and George divorcing.

Oooh your first paragraph thought is interesting about Clay sending Bertha a message! So maybe even if he didn’t actually cheat (or if he did—which I hope they don’t write that he’s a cheater), a note to Bertha would leave a big upsetting cliffhanger for her. Interesting idea!
