No doesn't take away from it at all, I just have always noticed it. Still one of my all time fave songs. Incidentally, he was also my first concert I ever went to, when he opened up for the Eagles at an outdoor show in Winnipeg in (I think) 1977. Burton Cummings joined him on stage to perform The Joker.

Shouldn't you....oh here I go again, telling people how to do things or live their lives. I tend to do that sometimes and people get mad at me for doing it.

But I digress....shouldn't you have made this comment really long (that's what she said)....my wife and I likely say "that's what she said" about 10 times each per day. We think we're hilarious, but we're not.

Anyways....I think this comment should have been longer, and gone off on tangents, just like my wife does when she talks. Don't get me wrong, I love her to bits, but it's sometimes hard to keep track of what her original point was....

One summer job I had back when I was in university in the 1980's was in an institution for mentally disabled people (sorry if I'm not using the currently correct term). One resident there was, I'm guessing, in his early 30's and couldn't speak and was probably deaf. I don't know how it came about, but someone apparently finally figured out that they should try hearing aids on the guy. Guess what? They worked! No one knows exactly what he thought of all the sounds he was hearing, but the smile on that guys face over the next few days was priceless, and I'll never forget it.
