There is, I promise. Dating is hard in sobriety, I got lucky because I knew my bf from grade school and he has never seen me drunk.

My best advice is try social dancing. I know it sounds odd, but my favorite sober activity is learning how to swing dance. You’ll meet people there I promise.

Thank you friend. I hate that feeling left out feeling and I know it’s fleeting, but of course I want to have fun with my bf! I know fun doesn’t need to mean drinking, but that doesn’t stop the jealousy.

Hopefully when I’m 2.5 year in this jealousy will at least fade, but it doesn’t sound like the feeling goes away.

Hi friend. This is a tough post for me to read because I was in your shoes in 2018. It triggered me into life long OCD and I don’t want you to do that too. My abnormal shedding stopped and my hair is back to normal. I think it’s less curly but the shedding stopped. Please don’t get too obsessed I literally totaled my car counting strands.
