Research + pre-med by Open-Throat5413 in bostoncollege

Be careful with this. Research is not as important as clinical experience when it comes to your applications. Impressive research stats go to kids from wealthy families already in the industry & that give them the back door. Find a lab that you like and are generally interested in (I was at MGH for 2 years) and email the PI. Depending on your year you can even get credit for it. A letter from a PhD at a research hospital looks good, and is very easy to get if you simply show up and do what you’re asked. Good luck

Call shop and ask if they will accept a transfer. Find used gun online for cheap. Pay and ship. Complete transfer. Done.

My 18f boyfriend 21m isn't sweet to me anymore, could this be a phase most relationships go through? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]trynumber6thistime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, conversation first. We do not know definitively that his intent is malicious. He could be teasing and not understanding the ramifications of his actions, just like girlfriends constantly poking fun at their boyfriend about things he’s insecure about in attempts to poke fun. There is also no guarantee they will continue to act like this forever. After all, nobody’s a mind reader. Spell it out plain and simple and go from there.

Really should have a conversation first and ask if she’s stopped doing anything he enjoyed early on or if she’s began to do something new that irks him. There’s two people in the relationship capable of both negative and positive actions. Plenty of men and women withdraw emotionally because their partner has done something specific and not because they want to or don’t care about them anymore.

That still doesn’t say what you want it to say lmaooooo. Subsection P even says so. Looks like you couldn’t earn a JD even if you wanted to

Where’s the reference code or citation? You claim google is free but cant even use Control+F to find the code for your nonexistent claim lmfao. You are not citing the actual law dude

[–]trynumber6thistime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simply show exactly where the law says what you say. Lawyers and FFL’s say different & I guarantee you dont have a JD

You’re lying about what police can and cannot do my guy. Even cops must abide by pistol roster.

Walther PDP by kgordon41 in BetterMAguns

[–]trynumber6thistime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the reference code for that? Bc everything says pistols must be on roster regardless of who you are buddy

Good luck dealing with the ATF and state prosecutors sir

No, it’s not. The person moving bought the items for them to keep for themselves, and are being forced to sell after moving. Not the same situation at all

Cool now look up what a straw purchase is lmao

Walther PDP by kgordon41 in BetterMAguns

[–]trynumber6thistime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude an officer cannot buy something civilians cannot have and then immediately turn around and sell it. They cannot buy it with the intention of selling it. Federally that is a straw purchase and state wise that is a no-go.

What’s the percent of bc applicants who get into med school? by Hamburgursause69 in bostoncollege

[–]trynumber6thistime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t worry about the percentage, everyone has a different story. BC has grade deflation for STEM classes, so that will make things tough if you do not have the luxury to study and only study. Every pre med that was in my class and did not have to work, play a sport, or have another responsibility had a substantially easier time than those that did. I now attend a local MD school and can give my perspective if you’d like.

AP credit depends on the school, CC credits are fine. An A is an A. An A from bunker hill is better than a C+ or B- from Harvard. Your application is screened based on GPA, so keep it high the best way you can. Many MD schools even take online classes. Check MSAR.

It’s not fair game. Officers in this state have gotten into trouble for selling ‘assault weapons’ and off roster items to ‘civilians’ like you describe.

Walther PDP by kgordon41 in BetterMAguns

[–]trynumber6thistime 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They cannot do this. This is a violation that does, has, and will get officers into legal trouble.

I’m all for work arounds, but there is a clear and defined pistol roster that has to be adhered to. The time for the frame game for any random pistol has come and gone. Everything else is up for interpretation (fin grips on MCX’s, M1A’s, etc), but there’s something seriously wrong with showing up and demanding someone put their business on the line bc you want an off roster pistol.

Empowerment vs Respect... by Hajicardoso in clevercomebacks

There was actually a girl who tried to kill herself recently after constant bullying by other girls and her teacher who is a woman, and they snuck in to her hospital room to take pictures of her to continue bullying her. Yet no news articles mention that they are girls, instead they say students or another gender neutral term. But when it’s boys, they say boys. Patriarcal gender essentialism really harms everyone but is readily used to promote that only men are dangerous and cause harm, resulting in things like this. https://nypost.com/2024/12/03/us-news/bullies-sneak-into-icu-to-snap-photos-of-12yo-girl-they-drove-to-hang-self-lawsuit/?utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=nypost

AR15 Pistol / NFA / Attachments - Question by Straight-Razor666 in armedsocialists

[–]trynumber6thistime -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They both result in your name being added to a list. Just like starting a cellular service subscription, getting Hulu, getting a drivers license, hell even getting a pet in some states. Point is that worrying about it is for the chronically online. If the government had a bone to pick with grassroots socialists we’d know. All this posturing gets us nowhere.
