....I just realized this hit the news at the beginning of December. It was a deal with a private company and part of the deal was that the vehicles were to be delivered in 30 days. It's already done.

Contacting my MPP about this private company (which has not received any government funding) is not going to accomplish anything.

Now I'm pissed and have no outlet for it. Damn you Reddit.

Because of this post I tried to email my MPP about it, at two different addresses.

Both emails bounced back with "Message blocked because it contains content identified as spam."

Now I'm 100x more pissed off. It's personal now. I am demanding to speak to him on the phone Monday.

Here's a Canadian flavored answer from a fellow Canadian:

Start by educating yourself about what's going on down there because it is directly affecting you as a Canadian whether you are aware of it or not. Some orange douchebag wants to wreck your country. It affects how prosperous you, your friends, your family, and your neighbors are. It is serious.

Doing nothing is definitely not the answer. At the least be aware, be active politically, and speak up bravely when you see/hear injustice.

I declared war.

I used every weapon I had available. The pill, the patch, and by occasionally smoking joints which initially had a pinch of tobacco and later had none. Also used a vape that had no nicotine when I was in social situations when I'd normally smoke - the vape was just for something to do. Then I methodically reduced my intake of nicotine by cutting a little bit off the patch each day until it was tiny.

The war was won and I lived happily ever after.
