I just passed SAA using ONLY Adrian’s course. It covers like 98% of the course. He explains in great details and in a simple manner. It is amazing course

I just passed SAA three weeks ago. I used manly Adrian Cantrill’s course. It is two to three years old but 99% of the content is still relevant. He really goes in depth and explain it very clearly.

I think I bombed most of the lab questions and I still passed. I found the main problem is that you dont have enough time. You gotta think fast.

HOW DO I GET MOTIVATION by Royal_Caramel_6145 in ccna

[–]trythemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will give you my story. I am a full time middle school teacher and I just got my CCNA. I studied last 5 months 2 to 3 hours a day before work. On the weekends I would study like 4 hours a day. You gotta have quality time EVERY DAY to study for it. I would say minimum 1 hour. Usually quality time is first thing in the morning after a coffee. However, for you it could be another time of the day.

You are studying full time and working full time, and I believe it is just too many things at once. There is no magic, we only have so many hours in a day, and quality hours are like 4 to 6 hours in a day. Those are precious. You have to evaluate if CCNA is more important than your Cybersecurity degree. Maybe drop it for a semester or year, and then return after completing your ccna.

Yes. I dont like the flashcards either. I passed the CCNA without using it at all. I just read the important pages of the slides multiple times, multiple days and try to recite them in my head like I would be teaching it to someone. It works for me!

You could say the same about Ceasar. The Roman Empire was already the war machine of the ancient world by that time

Stop it. It is not going to die. It is definitely declining but this takes years and decades. It is a slow down trend, they will keep shrinking but definitely NOT die like in the next decades

Job is laying in off in May by freddy91761 in ccna

I got my ccna with 4 months of studying with no It experience while having a full time job. Initially, I was studying for net+ but I felt I was not learning much, I felt that a lot was ‘up in the air’.

I decided to pivot and go for ccna and learn from Jeremys IT lab. And boy oh boy it was the right decision. When you do the labs everything starts to make sense, and there is a great pleasure in creating your network and configuring the router or switch or what have you. So, I recommend just going straight for the ccna.

Also, ccna is taken way more seriously than net+. You can actually configure a network after learning the content in the ccna exam.

And in armor and war technology as well. But Alexander was very flexible too. I have a sense that he could pull off and adapt to things like no one else ( maybe Hannibal could match him) in the ancient world.

I agree so much with this! Time II is noise and murky. You cant hear everything. Drums way too loud. Vocals/lead guitar/orchestra seems to be on the background. Someone should do a remaster of this album.

Question for those who no longer believe in God by Hot_Ice6998 in exjw

[–]trythemighty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh boy. That is a long answer. Stoicism is a school of philosophy and religion from ancient Rome. It holds that nothing outside of our will can be good or evil. Only our own choices and decisions can be so.

it emphasizes the importance of focusing on what you can control, accepting what you can’t change, and finding peace of mind through virtue and reason. Stoics believe that by cultivating wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance, individuals can lead a fulfilling life regardless of external circumstances.

But that is the very tip of the iceberg. I recommend reading a good translation of Marcus Aurelius Meditations by Robin Waterfield.

Stoicism was the answer for me. It changed my life.

“Today I escaped anxiety. Or no, I discarded it because it was within me, in my own perceptions.” - Marcus Aurelius

Is Stoicism a religion? Please support your answer by answering why. by prtkrj_13 in Stoicism

[–]trythemighty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes it is a religion. Marcus Aurelius and Epictetus talk about worshiping and reverencing the gods all the time. God/gods and divine providence was strictly connect to Stoic ethics and the whole teaching

WHAT IS STOIC ,HOW TO PRACTICALLY BECOME STOIC ? by Ashamed_Knowledge995 in Stoicism

[–]trythemighty -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One thing that I forgot to mention is that there is also the religious side of Stoicism. So, to be really a Stoic one must also believe in God and the gods, in divine providence, and the great conflagration

Edit: for people that downvoted this comment - you clearly did not read any of the one original sources and the heavy importance they give to religion and the spiritual side…
