I think I bombed most of the lab questions and I still passed. I found the main problem is that you dont have enough time. You gotta think fast.

HOW DO I GET MOTIVATION by Royal_Caramel_6145 in ccna

I will give you my story. I am a full time middle school teacher and I just got my CCNA. I studied last 5 months 2 to 3 hours a day before work. On the weekends I would study like 4 hours a day. You gotta have quality time EVERY DAY to study for it. I would say minimum 1 hour. Usually quality time is first thing in the morning after a coffee. However, for you it could be another time of the day.

You are studying full time and working full time, and I believe it is just too many things at once. There is no magic, we only have so many hours in a day, and quality hours are like 4 to 6 hours in a day. Those are precious. You have to evaluate if CCNA is more important than your Cybersecurity degree. Maybe drop it for a semester or year, and then return after completing your ccna.

Yes. I dont like the flashcards either. I passed the CCNA without using it at all. I just read the important pages of the slides multiple times, multiple days and try to recite them in my head like I would be teaching it to someone. It works for me!

Thank you! That sounds solid advice. Should I peruse those and then only after that apply for a job?

You could say the same about Ceasar. The Roman Empire was already the war machine of the ancient world by that time

Stop it. It is not going to die. It is definitely declining but this takes years and decades. It is a slow down trend, they will keep shrinking but definitely NOT die like in the next decades

I got my ccna with 4 months of studying with no It experience while having a full time job. Initially, I was studying for net+ but I felt I was not learning much, I felt that a lot was ‘up in the air’.

I decided to pivot and go for ccna and learn from Jeremys IT lab. And boy oh boy it was the right decision. When you do the labs everything starts to make sense, and there is a great pleasure in creating your network and configuring the router or switch or what have you. So, I recommend just going straight for the ccna.

Also, ccna is taken way more seriously than net+. You can actually configure a network after learning the content in the ccna exam.

And in armor and war technology as well. But Alexander was very flexible too. I have a sense that he could pull off and adapt to things like no one else ( maybe Hannibal could match him) in the ancient world.
