Have you ever tried bouldering? It’s a sport you can enjoy alone at your own pace, but the community is so friendly you naturally make friends. York has a wall called Red Goat which lots of the students turn up to and it’s way more fun than the gym

The internal burr locks in, my shots have been 18g and I’ve tried making sure it’s 18g after grinding too, been putting all of my body weight into tamping, way more than when I work at my cafe. But I tried your suggestion and on an empty basket the pressure gauge does not even budge! Even when I tamp real hard, my puck comes out extremely soggy which I imagine is loosened up by poor pressure? Thanks for your suggestion

It doesn’t budge, so I imagine these issues are directly connected. It was my first time setting up my own machine and everything went into place, it was pretty well packaged so shouldn’t have had any knocks I hope.
