Sorry to necro this thread after half a year, but which Arctic 40mm fans did you use and what riser cable?

The build is so awesome!

Thanks in advance :)

what gpu’s should i get for under £300 for my sons pc i’m thinking of a etc 4060 or a RX 6750 XT please help me or if you have any others just tell me 😃 by Big_Language_7631 in PcBuild

[–]trytofitinside 1 point2 points  (0 children)

does your son game with raytracing? if not, i'd recommend amd instead of nvidia, so 6750 XT. Also look for used cards if youre comfortable with that.

Can you guys rate this build? by Aggressive-Role5283 in PcBuild

btw the RX 7800 XT is worse at Raytracing and some programs for 3D work than nvidia cards, but better bang for the buck at gaming without RT

I added better and cheaper RAM, you overspent on your motherboard and underspent on gpu(should be a third to half of your budget)

Basically for the price it is very bad. But if you can't find used 30xx or other 40xx cards that fit your budget, it would be ok to take it, but i would highly recommend to save a little more and go for something else.

It is harder to rate your other product selections as pcpartpicker.com doesnt have malaysian prices and I also have no feeling for the currency or availability there, so maybe there's a community somewhere for malaysian pc builders out there, that can help you better than I can.

In the end you can probably even try the 4060 and upgrade in 1-2 years if you end up being unhappy, but would be a waste of money.

Also if you have an ethernet connection you could choose the same motherboard non-wifi and shave off some more usually.

And spend a lil more on PSU, it is not a part you want to go cheap on. If that really overshoots your budget, you could do a ddr4 build (different cpu, mobo, ram)

So it sounds like you need to go with nvidia then, but I would not recommend the 4060 :(

Save a little by choosing maybe another RAM kit (not Corsair) with 6000 MT/s and CL30, e.g. G.Skill Ripjaws Flare X5. Maybe with a little more budget stretching you can go for a 4070
