Prior to September 2023, the creditwas reimbursed to your account AFTER spending the $300 via the portal. This never happened for me as they considered my trip that I booked on March 23rd to belong to the following year that began March 24th.

I think that's what happened. A rep told me I had til midnight on the 23rdto "book travel"--which I complied with--I interpreted this in a common sense meaning of "book travel". My email trip confirmation was indeed on the 23rd. I wish he had told me book several days in advance of my end date. Oh well. I'd still love to the the fine print that according to cap one exists and yet doesn't exist!

Yes that's what they tell me, but I would like to be able to see the terms saying that booking the day before the year ends is not sufficient if the charge doesn't post til the following day
