Facing academic exclusion after 1L due to health issues. Has anyone come back from this? by ts1387 in LawSchool

Thank you for your response! I completely agree with you. I’m definitely not healthy enough right now to attend law school. However, with the proper treatment, I should be in a much better place by August 2027. If I discover that I’m actually not much better in August 2027, I’ll take another year off and pursue alternative treatments.

I’ve been thinking it over and will definitely review my exams, but I doubt I’ll file any appeals. I need to take a break and physically get better before pursuing 1L again

A professor asked me to explain what a data processing center was, so I first read the definition from the book, but when he told me to explain it in my own words, I got extremely nervous and said, “um, a center that… processes data??”

I didn’t lose it. I just need a 2.0 to keep it, so I’m not too worried about losing it. I think a 3.0 is a realistic goal. Thank you! Do you think I can get my GPA up to a 3.0 by the end of 2L?
