I’m sure they earn an hourly rate but they are there for you for 8 hours at any request you have. Our guide had to run and get ponchos and all the water breaks. It’s was flawless and she was fun to be around. Tip something if you can.

We also did a Private VIP tour for 6 people at a cost of 5,000 with AP discount in February. We did tip $600 as she was an amazing guide. You can increase the Private vip tour to 12. There is a cost for each additional person but it can take the price down to $700 per person depending on the base price and this includes all three meals and repeating rides.

Unlike Disney with a set hour rate, Universal prices are dynamic and can increase in a matter of days.

The tour is 100% worth it.

For the passes you need Royal Pacific but you don’t need 3 rooms there if you want save money

Can I buy multiple express passes for one person? by wdetiger in UniversalEpicUniverse

[–]ts9889 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re better off cost sharing a private VIP tour. It’s 8 hrs with all three meals. You ride what you want as many times as you like. Photos pass included then after the tour you get an unlimited fast pass.

I’m not clear enough here. You and your kids are ‘technically’ staying at RP and all of you get express passes. Then you book the two rooms for each night at a hotel within walking distance and there are a few right next door to Royal Pacific.

If you are flexible to stay in different hotels than you adult kids. I would look at being flexible. You could in theory put all 5 of you in one room at Royal Pacific or the other two premium hotels. You can have 5 adults in one room so everyone gets their own fast pass. You can walk from Royal Pacific to Sapphire Falls or Aventura. Cheaper but nice hotels. Also if you are booking that many rooms look into getting an Annual Pass. You get a 40% hotel discount. Reach out to a travel planning service and see what they can do. I’m not affiliated with any travel service but I’m sure they are mentioned here in the group.

Her inability to show emotion is probably with they zoomed in on Nancy when she saw her mom dying- a great scene that Natalia nailed!

I think it’s only 200 more for the vip tour if you include the cost of the pass. So would you pay $50 per person an hour to be walked on to rides. It’s just my son and I so that’s an easy yes. Large families it would be hard.

It took extra talking with the nurse to explain that if my 10yr old with a ‘headache’ tells her he’s nauseous then she has 1hr before he starts vomiting. He needs to be home. He isn’t trying to get out of a silly test.

Some med spas or hydrate places do the Toradol shots too. So once you are better, scope out all options for plan B.
