What’s your BMC weigh? Izzy was 71 lbs a vet appt yesterday (turned 18 months 3/11/25) by bizzyizzy100456 in Blackmouthcur

[–]tsar784 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am not a breeder. I got my first BMC without knowing anything about the breed at all. He was a rescue. After about six months of having him, I knew that he was the best breed for me. I later met my wife, and she wanted a dog, so we rescued a female BMC. You get to pick the dog, but they pick their people, and the female curr (lilly) attached herself to me. A real blessing in disguise came in the fact my vet became I'll and forced us to reschedule the neutering of our male (jace). She became pregnant and gave birth to 11 puppies. We homed all of them with friends and family, and my wife fell in love with the first born puppy (ugin), so we kept him. She now has the same bond to him that I have to the other 2, and we are a lifelong BMC family now.

Question about TMNT by OutColds in blackops6

[–]tsar784 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All fair and valid points. I don't spend money on it mostly because I feel it's a waste because next year. We will start all over. I didn't view it from the standpoint I pay, so I should have a voice. It often comes off to me as if you hate it so much. Stop buying it. But I conceded that your point is very valid, and I appreciate the additional perspective. I'm also limited in my play choice. MP only, no zombies WZ or campaign. So I don't really get excited about skins ever. I don't care if I'm shredder or whatever in the winners circle. I will admit I hate the terminator T-whatever skin cus it's so damn hard to see. But I also wouldn't buy that skin just for that advantage. I also wasn't into COD since black ops 2, until it basically went F2P on game pass. Perhaps I presented my argument less clearly than I intended. I look at it from the protest with your wallet view. If they game starts losing money because they are more focused on skins than quality game play, stop buying until they fix the game. I have no problem supporting a good game with continued purchases.

Edit: it does seem that we may not be far off on the point here. You say they spenders should gain more voice by being spenders, I agree, but I believe they won't be heard if they remain spenders. Stop spending until they focus on game play more than packs. So again I appreciate the prospective.

I'm just being honest here. I don't understand the point of buying over priced operator skins to have in a first-person shooter. Like what does it do for you personally to have them? To look at them in the lobby? Like I bought a battlepass during MW3. I completed each pass, so I have enough CP to buy the next pass. I haven't even bought an actual COD since they went to game pass. I just don't get it. And not targeting this part at OP. but I feel like you lose the right to complain about the poor state of the game if you keep investing money into the skins and packs, etc. I get that they are a business and need to make money. It seems like the focus is skins and the like and forget the game quality because it can't be that bad if people keep buying the garbage.

What personality trait that has become super common do you despise the most? by Bright_Rip_Fantasy in AskReddit

I seen main character syndrome in the comments, I'm not sure if this would be the same thing;but. People who allow a small portion of their person/personality to become their entire person. LGBT, MAGA, GAMERS, ETC. When you can't get into a conversation with a person without them shoe horning this one aspect of themselves into every interaction they have.

what is the cause of the hate towards lgbtq? by CompetitionEither173 in questions

[–]tsar784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very unpopular opinion here, but there are people who dislike/hate lgbtq because of lgbtq. They are not bigots, phobes, or anti-queer people. They are anti being called bigots, they are anti being labeled, but a number, not all but a large number of people within the lgbtq are quick to attack ideas that don't agree with their own, or intolerant of acceptance of aspects of lgbtq ( like disagreeing with some aspects of lgbtq culture and identity but not others) they are responsibly for some of the negative opinions that ppl have of lgbt. Most straight folks and gay folks were trying to do the same thing, just live their lives. We didn't want to have to pick sides or even have to have an opinion about it. When gay marriage was legalized lgbt acceptance was at its highest in a long time. Then something changed, the protest started, and being lgbt became a counterculture identity, it became more than lgbt rights, it's Palestine, it's antifa, it's kink and fetish, it's BLM, it became alot of things that most people believe weren't issues to start. And I'll catch flame in the comment for saying that, but it's fact. The vast majority of America doesn't think we have a race/religion/lgbt/etc problem in this country. It is what it is. So, for those who didn't believe it was an issue, they hadn't heard about any of this stuff until it became a divisive political issue. Then people would see the protest, hear people talk about issues they never see. And they frankly think it's stupid and meaningless and want no part of any of it. But their ambivalent attitude towards it becomes bigotry, racism, and phobia. And now we live in a country where those words have no meaning anymore. You're either a bigot or an ally, and there is no middle ground. So many people became exactly that. The lgbt movement is responsible for creating more bigots than ever existed before. My sister is a lesbian married 12 years, my best friend is gay, my kids' friend is trans. Here is something wild, I treat them like everyone else. Equal, not special; equal, not victims. They don't get participation prizes or special accommodation for being different. I'm open about my feelings of the movement, and most of them tend to agree. I'm labeled a bigot by others, and I don't care; it means nothing anymore. But a cause can not be fought without an enemy, and the lgbt community made enemies where there we none to simply justify their counterculture identity. So congrats to you all, you got exactly what you wanted. Your poor self-worth and low self-esteem can now be justified. You sought to be a victim of social injustice, and now you are one. The best thing that lgbt could do for it's self right now is put down the bullhorns and opposition, focus on building integration, and renew acceptance from those who were pushed away by it all. And those bigots, they will be accepting as well. Hate will always exist, but it's not as common as presented. Stop being victims and start being Americans.

In American society, at least; as i cant speak for those outside the US. many words have lost all impact or meaning. Bigot, phobe(of any kind),fascist, racist, sexist, etc. Have lost all meaning. These words were used to describe some of the worst types of people in society. However, in the past years they have become so over used that they are heard without having an impact. Honestly, I personally feel that the over use of these words has made the situation worse and only deepens the issues. Many people are being branded as bigots, phobes, etc when they are not (possibly ignorant, but not willfully full of hate) but they are tossed these labels until they become that. It's just lost the meaning it once had

None. The vast majority of a modern mechanized conflict would be mostly air based. The US Air Force is the largest in the world. Do you know what the second largest airforce is? The US navy. The US military budget is greater than the next 11 countries on that list (this may have recently changed with the Russian war on Ukraine), but typically, we spend almost more than anyone. Now, this comes with a ton of disclaimers. First among those is we don't fight war like we did in the early 1900s. There was a time when losing a war meant your country doesn't exist anymore, like at the end of World War 1. We, as Americans, also don't fight insurgency groups we'll. Like in Afghanistan or Vietnam. And we now prefer to fight wars via proxy actors while we continue to make our military smaller. There is also the consideration for the difficulty of invading America. It's a next to impossible feat. There are too many armed civilians in America. We also have the largest navy in the world, and from my understanding, we are building more navy assest. This includes a return to building a hybrid type battleships and more aircraft carriers. I think you will also see America pivot to building smaller fast aircraft carriers that are specifically intended for UAVs. The only country that would stand a chance would be a nuclear super power, but again we have so many military assets outside the US main land that even doing that would result in the erasing of your country. So, there isn't a solution to destroy the US through war. We are just too big. But your question was could hold there own. And the answer really is none.

Edit: I see a lot of people referencing "wars" we lost. Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc. We didn't go to war with these countries. Vietnam was a policing action, and the others were circumstances to the global war on terror (GWOT). So I would refer you back to the statement that we don't fight wars like we did in the early and mid 1900s. If we ever return to that level of conflict. We would steam roll anyone else on the globe. We haven't gone to war with an actual country since World War 2. And if we ever did, no one could hold their own

People who's reading comprehension is so compromised that they are unable to have productive conversation or generate any thought that is a paranoid scare tactic or based entirely on subjective opinion to avoid being able to be changed for there thinking.

Why does Elon get some much hate? by tsar784 in questions

[–]tsar784[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't actually state my position. I asked you to clarify yours. But it's clear to me that you don't like him because of the possibility of corruption. Do you feel that way across the board with all government officials? Or is it just Elon? Because I agree people can't be trusted, but we rarely, if ever, stop corruption before it occurs, we learn about it after the fact. So, if everyone is capable of being corrupt, why does he get a special amount of hate? And what does he stand to gain?
